Trip to Hannaford Mills
Me and my brother checked out this mill that started around 1850s.Started out with lumber and then also wooden barrel tops and also ornate wood moldings and eventually grain . They also sold sawdust to pack around ice blocks to stop from melting.Power came from a metal water wheel to steam and eventually a huge Dynamo that also supplied the town who was charged by the light bulb.

Wayne there were two other steam engines one smaller and one larger also a huge boiler in the pic of the building with the smoke stack but the pics I took were lousy.

Wow neat stuff! Been enjoying watching mine run on air.
Re: Trip to Hannaford Mills
Wayne , how many psi to run slow , or high speed ?
Re: Trip to Hannaford Mills
It will start at about sixty. I have moved it up to 80. When running them with steam they have inline oilers for the cylinder. Don't know if I could rig one up running on air or not. May put that question out on smokstak.
