Baker Monitor hand pump wanted

Post by Jim Corcoran »

Looking for a hand pump (preferably Baker) to go with my Baker Monitor pump jack as shown in the attached image. Does anyone going to the Windmiller's Trade fair in Lubbock next month have one for sale? I can pick it up there. Thanks in advance.

FYI, you can still buy those new. Pricey, but available.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

Bob,
I'd rather find an old one that needs restoration. It provides more sweat equity that way.

Hey Jim does the pump have to be a windmill pump or can it be just a hand pump?

Dan,
Preferably a windmill pump. My first choice would be a Baker Monitor since the pump jack is also a Monitor. I already have a restored Dempster hand pump it could be mounted on but want to find another pump for this project.

Are you planning on being at the trade fair next month?

Best regards,
Jim

I probably won't be to the trade fair Jim I've been pretty much laid up. But I do know where a monitor pump is in a field and I believe it's a windmill pump i have to try to locate the owner. No promises but will work on it when I can. Hope all is well. Dan !!
