Re: New Arrivals
Per requests for more pics of windmill parts. Still trying to figure out what’s what and completeness, more to follow. Not sure why there’s a side vane with the Dempster wood. I was told there’s extra parts in there, we shall see. There are 2 Heller Aller main castings. Entertaining offers for all or individually. Thanks

Re: New Arrivals
Will do. It may take me a while to unravel the windmill part puzzles so stay tuned. Castings are easy enough to sort out, it’s the smaller hardware that may force me to assemble them all to make sure they’re complete.
Btw…the Woodmanse is a steel gear back model, not direct drive.
Also, the new wood for the Dempster 11 wheel and vane are correct. Dimensions are right and wheel clips fit perfectly. The presence of a side vane threw me but apparently the Dempster 9 uses the same wheel, with the exception of having wood radial arms and it uses the side vane for governing.

Re: New Arrivals
More Heller Aller Baker direct stroke pics….
The tail and wheel are in amazing condition, like they just came out of the crate. Other parts have been repainted. I’m not sure if it’s the older or newer type. Maybe someone can enlighten me. No tower or stub tower. There’s 2 main castings. This machine should be in a museum.

Re: New Arrivals
Mike , the last photo shows how nicely you have filled your new shop , i see the Corvette hiding in the rear corner ,
now i understand why it is necessary to have a clean-out sale . There is some amazing stuff in there .

Re: New Arrivals
That’s some attention to detail Mike…Pay no attention to the corvette in the corner…..oz reference. It’s a field find from 20+ yrs ago, had a bent frame, snake skin under dash and leaves in the intake, now a wind charger chase car.

Re: New Arrivals
Very nice collection Mike,i believe your Heller Aller is second gen I believe the original one's had malleable cast sail ties. Only saw one of those.
Re: New Arrivals
Mike , that door art only shows off one of your many talents & aquired super skills , it would be OK to share with the fellow windmills a short story about jet propulsion ?

Re: New Arrivals
Probably wouldn’t be a good idea Mike. Might reveal my true identity to certain foreign entities…but thank you for your kind words.
