Aermotor Tower Slotted Screws

Here is the picture of the two tools Aermotor sent with a new tower for assembly: Flat bladed screwdriver & wrench for slotted screws/square headed nuts. Thanks for the tip and pictures from Mark Welch and the AWM in Lubbock.

I always have, and probably always will, cut them off and throw those things away.

Perhaps the worst decision ever made by Aermotor. Whoever made that call deserves a punch in the face when time travel becomes reality. The only saving grace is that the head is just barely thick enough that a good vice grips will hold it.
