Baker monitor WD

Found a baker monitor wd 10 footer in a heap a while back. Slowly been fixing it up and really only lack the fan, it’s a six section, are these rare I’ve seen hundreds of 6.5- 8 footers and have several of them myself, it just seems like not a lot of info on the 10 and 12 footers.. anybody ran into that problem before finding parts?

Welcome to the forum.

The WDs are fairly common, just there are lots more of the WB and WC models out there. The WE (12’) is rare. I believe the WD and WE are all 6 section wheels and they are heavy gearboxes. I see WDs on marketplace from time to time.

Parts-wise, you might try Steve Adams in Granbury.

I looked yesterday on Marketplace and saw 2 WDs for sale or components that appear WD. There was a 3rd listing that I saw previously, but could not locate it yesterday.

I screenshot what looks like WD parts for sale in the San Angelo area. I think this is a WD vane, tailbone and most of a fan because of the extra support on the tailbone and I’ve only seen that extra support on WDs and WEs.
