I believe the part number on a 1903 model is A202 on the main casting !!!

Thanks for the pics Larry it's definitely a RA model Aermoter. From what I can tell the RA model was actually made in 1903 but i believe it didn't hit the market until around 1905 until they fased out the 03 model. Just my thoughts !!!

Sorry for the delay in followup. The tower is a 9 degree tower so the tower platform pattern in the reference-Aermotor section should work. The easiest way to verify is with comparing interior dimensions of the platform to the actual tower leg dimensions at the 40" holes on tower legs.
When you are looking at the reference Aermotor section, there is a good reference for 1903/RA mills there also.
This is what a classic open gear vane looks from ca 1900 to 1915. This also has the appropriate logo stencil although hard to read. There were different era build sheets on the vanes. The classic characteristics of an original later open gear vane is the horizontal splice in the vane at top and the open corners between the sheet and the perimeter rod. Looking close you can see the oval squashed o in Co. This is located just under the bone a quarter way across from R to L. I am pretty sure your vane was replaced with an oil bath era one.
The small gear is not worn badly as it was replaced at some time. Whoever did the replacement didnt keep the time of the gear or use the correct pin. The pin goes diagonally thru the gear and shaft.
I am unsure if your tower is the earliest 3 leg or not. There is a written description but no pic of the first 3 leg tower in the 1899 catalog but your's doesnt have all the characteristiics. There were two versions of the trussed tripod tower but yours has differences to either of them.
