Up here in northern Wisconsin where cold is a way of life for much of the year we learn to deal with power outages. The last four days the temps have been from -10 to 5 above with 20+ mph wind much of that time. If the power goes down everything turns to a "popsickle" in about an hour and a half. So we have a wood burning stove running 24/7 and a 35 KW PTO generator for the shop a 24 KW stand alone generator for the house and a 4200 watt portable just in case...The Texas Electric grid

Oh no. I go to town everyday and buy a Dallas Morning news. My day falls completely apart if I don't get my daily does of the comics. I used to get it delivered in Smith County, but over here in Navarro County no delivery. It's 7 miles to my nearest store, some times they don't have them so I have to drive another 2 miles. Sports while eating lunch them the rest of the paper while watching Tv at night.
