I'm in the process of rebuilding a tower for a F&W Star 37. The cross braces (5/16 rods) have a non standard end thread of 16 TPI. Several sources that advertised having 5/16-16 nuts have all sent me the common 5/16-18. I'm wasting too much time returning nuts for refund. Anyone know of a source for this unique size nut? I have acquired both a die and tap for 5/16-16 to make my own nuts if necessary but life would be simpler if I can find the right ones.
