Vintage Windmill and Wind Generator Forum

Say, on the old forum I had an article book marked to read later on putting rusty galvanized sheetmetal in molasses water to freshen up. Of course my book mark is now dead so could anyone refresh my memory on just how that worked? I got some blades that have some light surface rust on them and I am wanting to just clean them up for an indoor display. Thanks for any help.
