I stayed in Waco last night on the way down here. There were storm warnings.......if you have any idea what county you are driving in when they are issued. I think it poured down rain half the night.
Sunny and warm today in Pleasanton.

We got home Sunday night. We were going to take a couple of days, but once we were on the road, we decided we were tired of hotels and wanted to head home so we ended up driving straight through back to Arizona.

Thought I'd post a few pictures.

First, our host. Many thanks Jim and all those who put the whole thing together. We really had a good time.
Next pic, Thomas on the job.
Third pic, Wayne and the giant peanut (sounds like the name of a children's book)
Fourth, a 250 horse steam engine in Hondo
Fifth, Wayne this one's for you.
and finally, we stopped off in Langtry on the way home to visit the judge and pay our respects to miss Lilly.

Thanks Robert. Hopefully you can spend some time around Ft. Davis another trip. In Pecos Tx. they have a copy of Judge Roy beans place that is neater than the real thing. I was disappointed when I visited Langtry.

Yup, we'll have to do Ft. Davis next time around. I agree on Langtry, it was a bit underwhelming, but at least now I can cross it off the list.
