Michael "Mike" Seybold Obituary
Michael Ashton Seybold was born November 27th, 1945 in San Diego, California to Dolly and Charles Seybold. He passed away at his home on Monday, May 26th, 2025 at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 29 days.
Michael, known to most as "Mike", grew up in Ocean Beach and Point Loma, California where he graduated from high school. It was during his time in high school he won the local Plymouth Troubleshooting Contest and continued on winning at the national level. After graduation, he attended San Diego Community College and found employment as a mechanic. Mike also owned and raced a dragster during this time. After leaving college he worked at automotive dealerships as a mechanic. Mike went on to North Island Naval Base to be a machinist and worked his way up to a tool maker and later a materials engineering technician. He met and was later married to Donna Ruth (Winter) on August 25, 1968. They continued to make San Diego their home where Mike restored older vehicles for himself and others. It wasn't until 2008 that Mike retired and he and Donna moved to western Oklahoma to be near family. He also enjoyed fishing, building boats, hunting, raising cattle, being president of the Shattuck Windmill Museum, and restoring windmills.
He is preceded death by his parents; one half sister, one half brother; beloved dogs, Reba, Bucky, and Princess.
Mike is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home; 1 daughter, Victoria Roberts and husband, William, Dill City, OK; niece, Laura Green; numerous granddogs and a host of other relatives and friends.
