newest "prize " , am in need of the cast iron bonnett that covers the crankcast . OR , borow one as a pattern to a new replacement cast .

Don't know if this will help Mike this is a WX 2 I'm guessing they might be the same as the WX1 just different stroke ?

Dan , thank you for the photo , now I understand what the slots on the back side were used for , to hold the electric motor , but , now I also would like to have the shield that protects the belt drive ...
Yes it appears #1 & 2 cast iron bonnett would be the same .

Mike,

That is neat and in great shape. I always thought the bonnet was tin, but I’ve never laid a hand on one so it was an assumption. Looking online, the bonnet seems to vary by model.

There was one for sale about a year ago about a hour north of me. I regret not buying it. I seem to recall it had the motor and was cheap.
