My birthday is coming up and I decided to go have a steak at my favorite steak house. Four Winds Steak House close to Wills Point Texas. Wanted a reservation for December 1. They didn't have but one, at 8:30 that day and were booked up after that. Wouldn't you like to know you had a business booked up for a month. I do have a spot for 5;30 this afternoon. Will be joining my son, daughter-in-law and Granddaughter for my birthday steak. About an 80 mile drive but worth every mile. Can't decide what desert I'm going to have. They have 4 5 star deserts. I do know I'll eat one there and bring another home for another day.

Oh, ever since I opened the windmill / well business, we have been weeks behind. In one way it's good, in another, you are afraid of customers waiting too long.

Happy early birthday Wayne i hope your meal is enjoying. It's the same here with business. Everyone i called to help me with the rafters and roof on my barn were booked up for a year or more so me and a friend did it. Scary i don't like heights.

Happy birthday

Had my steak. It was as wonderful as my dream. A correction, I'm 77 not 79 and my birthday is really Dec 5. I was going December 1, and spend the night to go to Canton First Monday Trade Days. Since that didn't work out I think I'll stay at home and work on my Axtell tower. I'm building new wheel sections. Need 8 more pieces of 6 inch X4 ft X 1/4 poplar for blades. Bought all my Home Depot had, will go to Waxahachie tomorrow and get them. So other than that, all's well at the Rogers.

I live two miles down the road from Four Winds Steakhouse. What a great place to eat!!! It was the former home of the Dallas Cowboy Lee Roy Jordan.
