Well let's see. Here are some similar X-brace adjusters...Not sure about the head yet.

Tail looks squared off on the front like a Goold Shapely Muir, don’t know if any of them had a counter weight.

Could it be an R. G. Marcy Red Cross or Red Star also Kenwood?

Here’s a couple more views. How about a REX Windmill? Has the right tail shape, hub, spokes tower ladder. Anyone have a good picture or literature? Appears to have 2 counter weights.

Two weights and has that big gear below the main shaft. Definitely not one seen often.

Trying to find out where some literature is. I will get back later. There's not a whole lot of stuff available.

There is a catalog of Rex Mills. It's over 100 pages with pictures. It's at the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum at Canyon, Texas. This is known as catalog 17.
There is also a Catalog E in Minneapolis.
There is an Export Catalog ( #22) from Ross Supply Co from Anderson Indiana, and it's located also at the Texas Panhandle Plains Museum in Canyon Tx. There is also one of these at Lubbock at the museum there.
It's 56 pages, and has pictures.
These 3 places have info and pics of Rex mills, and Rex Jr mills. These are early catalogs, from 1903, 1905 etc.
Maybe they can help.
