ok then put them in a press. WATCH HOW YOU SET THEM before pressing. Grind all the burrs off the outside of the shaft so they don't add to the bind when you put SOME pressure on them. SOME.....SOME. Not a whole lot. Once again, better set them properly on the press. Use a round pipe slightly larger than the shaft, or a slot slightly larger than the shaft. You will be entering dangerous territory here. Put them in the press, and apply SOME pressure. Heat over and under as evenly as possible.Take short pauses between heating times to get the gear you're working on as even hot as you can. Test the pressure a bit here and there. if you heat enough around the shaft, and keep some pressure on, you should have some positive results. Remember, really loud pop sounds often result in the changing of the underware.

Yes I have used my 20 ton press on other stuck item's , with those same restuls as you described .
the width of the 2 large gears is set to close together to use the press , the 2 horizontal rails that adjust height are close together .
If i can get one gear off , press here i come after all this manuel labor , and time

Yes there are different ways to put the gears on the press, either to press one, or press both to see which one gives first. Just make sure the press table is right up by the shaft. I have some short pipe pieces I use for this purpose. I also have a slotted table I can use for one gear in the set. Whichever one gives first, finish it then do the other.

Thanks to the professionals who "been there , done that " today I pressed the shaft "onto " the big gear enough to hear it POP , insteresting sound .
At least i know the shaft will move , ground the edges so nothing to hinder the removal press operation . now, more soaking , tapping , heating and yes Windy patientce , been trying for almost two weeks to get the big gears off the shaft .

Well , things progress with patience as Windy says , pressed the other gear off , reverse , slide right off .
cleaned up the rotating surfaces , lubed and pre-assembled sans broken gear , makes a person feel better after all the frustration & brused knuckles !
