We are maybe supposed to restore this for a customer. It supposed to be a 'landmark' item downtown in Fairview, Ok. It's an 8 ft Woodmanse model G. New sails, some repairs, and new paint. Tower is still up, right by the old furniture store.

Seems like the name Fairview comes into y mind for some reason. Do they have a tractor and engine show there every year?

Yep. The end of September, the same week as work week in Shattuck. I used to take the restored mills there for display.

Thought so I've never been but have read about the show. I took my grist mill to a show in Ok one weekend many years ago. Thought it was in Tuttle or Turkey but don't remember it being that close to Ok City. I was sleeping in a tent that Saturday night and a storm blew in. Got me out of my tent and into my truck. I had a foam mattress was trying to get it to the truck wind took it out of my arms found it the next morning as I was leaving hung in a barb wire fence. A night to remember!
