Yeah Dan telling lies is what I tend to do best today. I always say keep your lies simple you may have to repeat them. I think you will enjoy the Journal. I ordered some historical CDs from the society, full of wonderful old pictures. Some shower camels hooked up pulling different things.

I hope you found the info you’re looking for by now, but this thread got me looking up pics of Australian made windmills. Something I noticed is the Comet mills mast pipe is center to the shaft and they have no side secondary side vane. How in the world do they turn out of the wind?

Hi Slim,
My project was stalled again,but I'm working on it now.
I got some advice from a local expert,but always interested to hear from others.
I will go with a side vane,& I need to redesign the tail to work correctly.
The Comets interested me,but I never see any in my area.They made some nice lager windmills too.
