Just watched this movie last night, it was really good (if anyone needs a movie recommendation). And there was an Aermotor featured in several of the scenes, or sometimes just the sound of it turning as the actors said their lines.
One quick glimpse of the gearbox made me think maybe it was an 802 or a newer 702 - anybody else see this movie and have a thought? Movie was shot in New Mexico.

I think that I was contacted ten years ago for this. They were already filming in Abq but wanted a windmill for the set that was to be out in Clovis area. It was somewhat of a screwy deal in that they wanted to rent the windmill for the set and then it could be removed afterwards. Fortunately, they found someone that was closer that obliged them.
Some additional info that I learned later. I called Casey at Mitchell in Fort Sumner for either a 12 or 14 vane a year or two later. Knowing that the crew that came with the biz when he purchased liked to paint everything with aluminum paint. He told me no it wasnt painted as it was nice original as it was used in a movie set...
Since there was no wealth sharing involved with me, I have not seen the movie.
