A very good shipper and price!

Post by hwy8 »

I've been shipping all kinds of stuff for years now, and I am always looking for a better situation. Lately, I bought an antique, 24" diameter, marble clock face that is heavy, delicate, and rare. I got a quote from Fastenal and it was close to $220: UPS was about $200 and so was FEDEX, even with my commercial discount.

I made a call to an antique clock collector friend who called a very experienced shipper of valuable things.
He recommended:
PIRATE SHIP
https://www.pirateship.com
He has used only them for over 10 years with VERY GOOD experiences.

Pirate Ship quoted $92 for my box and it was SO easy! The paperwork was done on-line and the package was dropped off at UPS. It arrived safe and sound with quite fast service.

I plan on using them as my primary shipper.
