Was this from a windmill?

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

If it has the inside corner (triangle cast blocks) and heavy 1/2 inch bolts thru them, its a Woodmanse. However the top 1/4 of the tower does not have the extra girts.....so....
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

Hi everyone it's been a while since I posted on this thread, but I recently saw this photo of Jacobs wind generators... and now I'm thinking it's a Jacobs wind generator tower 🤔

Here are 2 photos for comparison:

Venn
The left standing tower in the two standing tower pic is likely an Aermotor tower. Notice the corner ladder steps and the 7' tower sections compared to the 5' section tower that is next to it. The Jakes I have run across still in off grid use were on windmill towers that were 5' sections. Some references say Jacobs built their own towers and others say they were contracted out.

Woodmanse built towers for Fritchie wind generator and possibly Jacobs if they did contract out. Wind generator manufacturers did build stubs to adapt to towers same as windmill manufacturers. The tower top next to the one close the house pic could probably be either electric or water. Pic isnt great but that looks a concrete pad in tower base which would hint that it was for water.
