We drove down to the Trade Fair from NE Ohio. It was a small turn out for all the work Jim put into it.Still enjoyed being with the fine folks that came. John Durdle was in an accident and totaled his car. Hope he is OK. I never want to drive through Dallas, Austin, Waco, San Antonio , Little Rock, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, again. There was no good time of day to go through. The bright spot on the trip back home was stopping in Shreveport to with my daughter and 2 grandchildren and 6 great grands.

I agree 100%. Since being retired and not really being in a time crunch anymore, we will go way out of the way to avoid big cities. We used to go out in the middle of nowhere New Mexico to avoid El Paso and the middle of no where New Mexico is no where.

John Durdle is doing OK.
He was in a car accident in 5:00 rush hour traffic in Dallas. Spent the night in the ER there. Ruby and I went to get him Thursday. That is why we were MIA from the trade fair.
He broke his sternum and several ribs. He is slowly geting better every day. It will be a long slow processes. Ruby and I took him home to Illinois.
He is at his granddaughters Avery house for a few weeks.
We drove out of our way to get to Pleasenton. Only to drive through the whole mess to and from Dallas.
The state spends Billions of dollars to build a new highway only to turn it into a parking lot and then you pay them to park because it is a toll road.
