First time installing mill

Post by TdcJD »

So far all of my windmill experience has come from ones that were already on the ground or super shorty towers. That finally changed as yesterday i went to give Jim Collums a hand getting ready for the trade fair by helping install a newly rebuilt Pipe Raymond on a tower and take down a Fairbanks Morse vaneless that needs repair.

That is GREAT you’re working & learning from a guy who has who has lived windmills for almost 3/4 of a century ! Make the most of that time with him & ask questions !

When you get back on the ground with a minimum of scrapes , then it is a job well done!
