I rebuilt this A702 for my dad and have had this plastic bonnet for a while. The bonnet fits very nicely. Did Dakota make these? I never see any bonnets like this in the wild, so is there and con to using it?

Yes, those were Larry special helmets from back in the day. I think then they cost him around eight dollars a piece. They fit well, are durable and won't go away.

Some of the greenies and some FIASAs were fiberglass with no inner lip.
