Yep pretty sure she's a RA model. I see the pitman arm is busted and the bolt that holds it to the gear. Also I don't see the brake. But I am amazed at the good condition of the small and large gear not much wear at all. Thanks for the pics.!!

Larry
Lots of good pics but not a definitive one. A RA will have these double nutted studs to hold the arms in and main frame will be marked A02. A 1903 won't have the studa and main frame will be A2. I thought I had 1903s here but couldn't find any. Maybe Georgetown Larry got them awhile back.

I am still looking at references on the tower.

Has anyone heard from Georgetown Larry in a while ?
He had a couple windmills standing in the yard & a carport full of projects
I bought a few Aermotor parts from him several years back , lost his # and address .

I hope you didn't get those Aermotor post mounts from him, those are the only ones I ever got.

Aermoter opened a branch house in MO. In 1894 maybe they supplied the tower and Mill? It's hard to tell but it looks like the owner might have welded those arms on some time cause I see the pitman arm was welded.

If you have a pair of Nikon Eagleview binocs, that works too. Just look on the red main frame above for the position of the part#. A02 is RA and A2 is 1903.
