Looking for an 8 ft. Star 24 gearbox for wood bearings. I don't need the internals, just the gearbox. Will consider buying a complete gearbox.

Nice setup!

I know i am a little late on this, but this is how I bend angle iron. I just took 2 pieces of angle iron and bolted the together. I made one short and one longer. I then cut a long V on the facing side.

Then I made a V welded to a short piece of 1/2" flat bar.

Don't think it's a Star 12. Tailbone casting looks like F&W. My vote is Star 7.
