Venn , none of this stuff makes scene cause as soon as you think you know something along comes another variation or farmer fix , or well driller fix , or whatever ! It’s all variable . I am just amazed at the depth of knowledge these professional windmilled have !!

My 1936 Oldsmobile has the same engine as GMC trucks , pre-war stuff

Doesn’t appear to be a model 39 , my 39 has a cast end on the generator not pressed steel & my tail states 6 volt
Just my opinion till Mike W corrects me , he knows!
