Re: David Bradley WB restored!
The gasket goes all around the cap. I use rope, and tack it in the cap with weatherstrip adhesive. Also what leaks and looks like the cap, is where the rocker arm shaft goes thru both sides. Thats why the original fits SO tight. I see in your parts layout, that you may have a (hook) broken off the ...

Re: David Bradley WB restored!
A month later and it’s up! Only question, I did buy a new gasket for the lid, but it just seems to really want to leak. Like all around the lid entirely. Suggestions?

David Bradley WB restored!
Just finished building the WB David Bradley I took down a couple years ago. If you guys remember, I traded an afternoon of drone photography for this guy. It stood in a lakebed for quite some time. It was chained up. Got it taken down and brought it home. Took awhile to get around to rebuilding it ...

Re: Monitor WB mill pipe wear?

Monitor WB mill pipe wear?
Working on finally rebuilding a David Bradley I have to add to my collection, got it all taken apart and gonna blast stuff and get ready for paint. Just have a question, is this amount of wear concern for anything on the bottom of the pipe?

Re: Worlds Fair Windmills
I would have to check again on which brand windmill and what book I read it in, but I remember reading that all the windmills were allotted different plots to erect their mills, with limits on height. I THINK it was Aermotor but again, id have to double check, someone with Aermotor got permission ...
