Thank you for the birthday wishes. Very much appreciated. 86 seems to have crept up pretty fast. I celebrated my birthday yesterday along with
Easter dinner and family members. There are lots of left overs so won't be going out for dinner this evening.

Thanks Terry. Looks easier said than done. Dose not not look like an easy job. Looks like it would be easier to remove
the crank and shaft together. I picked up a crank plate from Dan at the fair. The old crank plate broke and no sign of
the key.

How does one go about removing the crank plate on a Monitor L ?

I bought new fridge this spring. The old one did not have an ice maker so after making ice cubes by tray for 20 years in the old decided

I went to Saskatchewan last week to do the B602 job. Worked all day getting the old tower down and stub installed. Sure could have
used that punch. Took me about an hour to drill the holes. I drilled them using 3 different sizes of drill bits using 3 different drills.

Mike, I am going to look into which colony has the craftsman that does cast welding. I have driven by a number of colonies. In fact I obtained my first Aermotor B602 wheel from one for the princely price of $50.00. Had no bullet holes in the sails but the vane was like a sieve.

Ran into welder today. Asked about the punch. Had not gone ahead with job. He said that his hourly shop charge is $136.00 plus parts, Etc.
Told him that I could not justify the extra money on top of the $97.00 I paid for it at the auction. No guarantees as well.

I dropped the Baker punch off at the welder. He said he can weld a plate on each side. Not going be pretty but if will work
that is fine with me.
